Five-star hotels, once-in-a-lifetime adventures, the pulse of Dark Demon raves, and their nuptials to brighten the holiday festivities.
Invited along, Abi and Shane believe the getaway comes at just the right time since it will give them space to make decisions about their future. Keeping secrets from each other, both have news they have yet to share.
Touching down in Osaka days later, their journey leads into the heart of Kyoto. At first, it’s everything they dreamed of—bamboo forests, golden temples, and snow-dusted shrines. But the beauty doesn’t last. From the icy steps of Kifune to the endless torii gates of Fushimi Inari, strangers creep from the crowds, each branded with the same chilling symbol.
